Nebraska Court of Appeals Judge Michael W. Pirtle is currently accepting applications for a full-time Judicial Law Clerk for the 2026-2027 term (with additional one year terms negotiable). This position involves highly responsible legal work including legal research, extensive writing and analysis, and assisting with the drafting of memoranda and opinions. The applicant must have above average legal writing skills, must be well organized and able to manage their time and meet critical deadlines. The applicant must also obtain a degree from an accredited law school (top 25% of class preferred), prior to starting the position and is expected to become a member of the Nebraska State Bar. The office location is 1065 N. 115th St., Suite 200, Omaha, NE 68154.
