Criminal:  Attempt to deliver, manufacture, or intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.   

Proceedings Below:  Appellant pled no contest to one count of attempt to deliver, manufacture, or intent to deliver a controlled substance and to two counts of possession of a controlled substance.  The district court gave Appellant an aggregate sentence of seventy-six (76) months in prison.  On appeal, the Court of Appeals affirmed.  State v. Howard, A-24-904 (August 26, 2025) Appellant petitioned for further review, which the Supreme Court granted and transferred this case to it docket.   

Issues: On petition for further review, Appellant assigns the following error:  1) The Court of Appeals erred in denying Appellant’s motion for leave to file a replacement brief and striking the replacement brief.
