Juvenile: Termination of jurisdiction and sealing of juvenile court record
Proceedings below: The juvenile court unsatisfactorily terminated its jurisdiction over Appellant and did not seal his juvenile record. On its own motion, the Nebraska Supreme Court ordered this case to be transferred from the docket of the Nebraska Court of Appeals to its docket.
Issues: Appellant assigns the following errors: 1) The juvenile court erred in terminating jurisdiction unsatisfactorily and ordering Appellant’s records not be sealed because it failed to comport with the requirements of due process; and 2) The juvenile court erred in terminating jurisdiction unsatisfactorily and ordering Appellant’s records not be sealed because it did not comport with the statutory requirements under Nebraska Revised Statute § 43-286.
