S-25-0096, S-25-0097, S-25-0098, and A-25-0099 In re Interest of Joel T., Michel T., Tresor T., and Kevin T., State of Nebraska (Appellee) v. Oscar M. (Appellant)
Appeal from the County Court for York County, sitting as a juvenile court, Judge C. Jo Petersen
Attorneys: Jerrod Jaeger (Jaeger Law Office, PC LLO for Appellant) and Christopher M. Johnson (Chief Deputy York County Attorney for Appellee)
Juvenile: Termination of parental rights
Proceedings Below: The juvenile court terminated Appellant’s parental rights to his children. On its own motion, the Nebraska Supreme Court ordered this case to be transferred from the docket of the Nebraska Court of Appeals to its docket.
Issues: Appellant assigns the following errors: 1) The trial court erred in conditioning reunification between Appellant and his children on case plan requirements derived from factual allegations that were never subjected to fair hearing, which thereby deprived Appellant of due process; and 2) The trial court erred by finding that termination of the Appellant’s parental rights was in the best interest of the minor children.
