Two Participants Graduate from Dodge County Adult Drug Court

On June 30, 2026, the Dodge County Adult Drug Court celebrated the graduation of Ryan and Benjamin during a ceremony held at the Dodge County Courthouse in Fremont. The event recognized their successful completion of an intensive and highly structured program that combines comprehensive treatment, close community supervision, and a strong emphasis on personal accountability.

Judge Thomas Klein and Judge Geoffrey C. Hall presided over the ceremony, which was attended by the graduates' family members and friends in recognition of this significant milestone and their commitment to lasting recovery.

Problem-Solving Court Coordinator, Beau Godwin, stated, “Today, June 30, 2026, we celebrate Ryan and Benjamin as they graduate from Dodge County Drug Court. This is an incredible milestone that isn’t just about completing a program, it’s about choosing a new path, putting in hard work every single day, and proving that change is possible. Recovery takes courage, humility, and perseverance, which epitomized Ryan and Benjamin’s time in Drug Court. With this being the first graduation I have attended since becoming the Problem Solving Court Coordinator for District 6 Probation, I am extremely proud and honored to be associated with Ryan and Benjamin’s incredible journey. Congratulations again, your hard work has paid off and Judge Klein, Judge Hall and the entire Drug Court team wish you nothing but success, happiness, and strength in the future.”

Adult Drug Courts provide an alternative pathway within the criminal justice system for individuals charged with nonviolent, drug-related offenses. Through a specialized, team-based approach integrated into the existing court structure, these programs are designed to reduce recidivism and substance use while helping participants achieve long-term recovery.

The primary goals of Adult Drug Courts are to enhance public safety and improve participant outcomes through the use of validated risk and need assessments, individualized behavioral health treatment, frequent and random drug testing, intensive judicial and community supervision, and a structured system of incentives, sanctions, and supportive services.
