The Interpreter Certification Pathway continues to produce its intended outcomes, as demonstrated by the results of the most recent oral examinations. Tom Fennel (Russian) and Bryan Watkins (French) have advanced along the Pathway by attaining Registered Interpreter status. In addition, Tirzah Corbin (Spanish) and Joseba Moreno (Spanish) achieved Registered status on their first attempt and have been added to the Statewide Register of Interpreters. All four interpreters have expressed their commitment to pursuing full certification in their respective languages. Members of the Branch are encouraged to congratulate them, extend a warm welcome, and support their continued progress when they serve in the courts and probation offices.
