Strengthen Leadership: Nebraska Probation Wraps up 2026 Virtual ILT Conference

Nebraska Probation successfully concluded its annual Integrated Leadership Team (ILT) Conference on August 18, wrapping up a four‑month series of virtual leadership sessions. Due to budget constraints, this year’s conference shifted to an online format featuring seven three‑hour sessions designed to support leadership growth across the Probation system.

The conference opened on May 19 with remarks from Nebraska Supreme Court Chief Justice Jeffrey Funke and State Court Administrator Corey Steel. Management team members from across the state engaged in learning aligned with the system’s strategic plan and grounded in the principles of Implementation Science.

Throughout the sessions, participants explored key leadership and organizational development topics, including psychological safety, appreciative inquiry, adaptive leadership, “giving the work back to the people,” and resilient optimism. The virtual format allowed leaders from across the state to stay connected, share insights, and strengthen relationships while continuing to advance the mission of Nebraska Probation and the Judicial Branch.
