The Nebraska Judicial Branch reassesses and refines its six overarching initiatives for the 2027-2029 Strategic Agenda. The Judicial Branch's top priority is to resolve legal disputes fairly, impartially and apply the law accurately to dispense and advance justice. It is essential that in the twenty-first century, the provision of justice is sustained through accessible courts and related services to achieve community safety, promote the general welfare, and encourage civility among people. The six overarching initiatives of the Nebraska Judicial Branch are:

• Initiative 1: Modernization of Court Information Technology and Infrastructure 
• Initiative 2: Strengthening Communities through Quality Court and Community Supervision 
• Initiative 3: Enhancing Public Trust and Confidence
• Initiative 4: Enhancing Access to the Courts
• Initiative 5: Ensuring the Rights of all Citizens — Children, Families, the Elderly, and Other Vulnerable Populations 
• Initiative 6: Regulating the Legal Profession

This document reflects the goals and the hard work that goes on in courthouses and offices in all 93 counties where court and probation services are delivered every day. It is thanks to the ongoing support, creativity, and effort of all members of the Judicial Branch that Strategic Agenda initiatives are able to be accomplished.
