Dodge County Adult Drug Court Graduates Two Participants

On August 18, 2026, the Dodge County Adult Drug Court celebrated the graduation of two participants at the Dodge County Courthouse in Fremont. The ceremony recognized the successful completion of an intensive program that includes comprehensive mental health treatment, close community supervision, and full accountability. Judge Thomas Klein presided over the event, joined by the graduates’ family and friends, and Judge Geoffrey C. Hall.

Adult Drug Courts offer an alternative pathway within the criminal justice system for nonviolent, drug-related offenders. Using a specialized, team-based approach integrated into the existing court structure, these courts are designed to reduce recidivism and substance use among individuals with substance use disorders.

Their primary goals are to enhance public safety and improve participants’ chances of successful rehabilitation through validated risk and need assessments, early, individualized behavioral health treatment, frequent, random drug testing, and a system of incentives, sanctions, and supportive services.
