James Bankhead, Specialized Probation Officer in District 4J was recognized as an Ambassador for Youth Rights by the Education Rights Counsel in a celebration in Omaha on November 13. James has served in his role for the past 12 years, guiding young people and their families during some of the most difficult times in their lives. The Ambassador for Youth Rights honors an individual or family who champions the education rights of children across Nebraska. James is an example of the power of probation and the positive, transformative effect the system has statewide.
