High School sophomore students from around the state had the opportunity to hear from Judge Riko Bishop on Wednesday, April 1. Organized by The Nebraska Federation of Women’s Clubs, this annual event invites high school sophomores from across Nebraska to spend a full day at the Capitol, engaging with representatives from all three branches of government.

Judge Bishop, speaking on behalf of the Judicial Branch, addressed the students about trial and appellate courts, the role of the Branch, and the importance of jury service.
