Court and Probation Offices will be closed Thursday, December 25 in observance of the holiday. 

Additionally, on December 18, 2025, President Trump declared Wednesday, December 24, 2025, and Friday, December 26, 2025, as holidays for purposes of federal law, thus closing federal offices. Governor Pillen signed a proclamation designating December 24, 2025, and December 26, 2025, as holidays for purposes of Neb. Rev. Stat. § 25-2221. The Chief Justice has likewise declared December 24, 2025, and December 26, 2025, as non-judicial days. 

Courts and probation offices may therefore be closed on December 24, 2025, and December 26, 2025, if schedules permit. Please check with your local court or probation office to confirm hours for these two days.
