The Office of Public Guardian has issued its 2025 Annual Report, highlighting important program data and information on public guardianship and/or conservatorship in Nebraska.

The report contains statutorily required data regarding the number of individuals served, types of guardianship/conservatorship cases, capacity of the OPG to serve, and status of its waiting list. The report also contains important updates on the OPG’s two pilot programs to study private guardian support and volunteer guardian recruitment.

Nebraska Revised Statute § 30-4111 requires the Nebraska Office of Public Guardian to report to the Chief Justice and the Legislature on or before January 1st of each year. This is the tenth report by the OPG providing updated, annual information covering November 1, 2024, through October 31, 2025.
