The Nebraska Judicial Branch has chosen Jared Callahan to serve as the Director of Communications and Public Information Officer, effective January 12, 2026. This position will oversee the Office of Communications, including media relations and credentialing, social media, design, and community outreach and education.

Callahan has served the Nebraska Judicial Branch for the past nine years, beginning in the IT Division working on the website and transitioning to Communications five years ago. He earned his B.A. at Doane University and MBA at Concordia University.
