Jacey Rader Selected as Deputy Administrator for Operations
Jacey R. Rader, a 22-year-veteran of Nebraska’s Judicial Branch, has been selected to serve as the Administrative Office of the Courts and Probation’s Deputy Administrator for Operations. The Operation’s Division has day-to-day oversight of human resources, finance, research and data, performance management, communications, surplus and procurement as well as contacts and grants management.
Rader began her career serving the courts in the Third Judicial District as a Presentence Investigation Probation Officer. In 2014 she promoted to the Administrative Office where she has held roles as a compliance officer, specialist, director and, most recently as an assistant deputy probation officer of the Operations Division. She has also held interim positions as a chief probation officer in the First Judicial District and as the Deputy Administrator of Operations.
“I am beyond grateful for this opportunity and have been honored to serve the Branch for the last 22 years,” Rader said. “I look forward to continuing service to courts, divisions, and districts statewide in a way that supports employees and strengthens the work we do together in our shared mission.”
Jacey is the current Interstate Compact Commissioner and the Midwest Region Representative for the Interstate Compact for Juveniles (ICJ) and held the ICJ Commission Chair from 2019-2021 and was the long-time ICJ Compliance Chair. She was named the co-Judicial Branch Employee of the year in 2020.
