The swearing-in ceremony of Judge Michael E. Piccolo as Judge of the Nebraska Court of Appeals will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at the Nebraska State Capitol in the 2nd Floor Rotunda, 1445 K Street, Lincoln, Nebraska.

Judge Patrick Heng will officiate, Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals Francie Riedmann will administer the oath of office, and Governor Jim Pillen will present the Certificate of Appointment. Chief Justice Jeffrey Funke and the Supreme Court justices will participate in the ceremony.

The public is invited to attend.
