Clerk Magistrate Sherri Ullman of the Gage County Court to Retire October 31

Clerk Magistrate Sherri Ullman of the Gage County Court to Retire October 31

Gage County Clerk Magistrate Sherri Ullman recently submitted her notice of retirement, effective October 31, 2026, after just over forty-two years of service to the Judicial Branch.

"I want to personally congratulate Ms. Ullman on her upcoming retirement as the Gage County Court Clerk Magistrate. For over forty years, Sherri has served the Gage County Court, the Nebraska Judicial Branch, and the citizens of Gage County at the highest level, doing so as our County Court Clerk Magistrate since 2020 with her appointment by the Hon. Steven B. Timm. Words cannot capture or express what Sherri means to Gage County Court and to us. I am convinced that there is no better public servant than Ms. Ullman in her service to the State of Nebraska; what she brings to the job and the office day-in and day-out is unmatched and irreplaceable. Her wealth of court knowledge, talent, and skills is unrivaled and will be sorely missed by all. Congratulations Sherri on your well-deserved retirement! You have more than earned it! Best wishes,” noted County Court Judge Jeffrey Gaertig.

Immediately prior to Ullman's retirement, an interim clerk magistrate will be designated for the court.
