Sarpy County Clerk Magistrate Barb Pousson recently submitted her notice of retirement, effective July 31, 2026, after just over twenty-five years of service to the Judicial Branch. 

“Barb is an outstanding public servant. She has guided the office with grace and contributed much time and effort to the judicial branch. Barb has placed the office in an excellent position to succeed in the future, and she will be missed,” noted County Court Judge Colin Palm.

Immediately prior to Pousson's retirement, an interim clerk magistrate will be designated for the court.
